Our History

Many have asked, and more have wondered, about the origins of our name, Mother Magnolia Medicinals. Here is the story.....Way back in the day, a big brawny South African, who loved his whiskey, was at the founder’s house for dinner. There may or may not have been some serious drinking that night. When he asked to step outside for a cigarette, he opened the door and nearly stumbled into a rather large Magnolia tree that was just outside the back door. As he caught his balance, he looked up at the canopy, paused and then exclaimed, “Jesus mate, that’s one mother of a Magnolia!” And from that moment the two words were indelibly linked and imprinted in our history books; Mother Magnolia was born! Most of you know us as M3, but we like to think that there indeed is one Mother of a Magnolia still flowing through the DNA of our little company.
